A new chapter: introducing Nola Living

Noticed something different?

After nearly ten years as VCC Homes, we’re now officially Nola Living.

Same team. Same standards. But a new name, and a new brand, to match the version of us we’ve been quietly building all along.

Nola Living Brand Identity

How we got here

VCC Homes started small. A local letting agency in Crawley with one stubborn idea: that landlords and tenants both deserved better than the standard high-street experience. No hidden fees. No agent who disappears after move-in. No managing properties like they were just spreadsheet entries.

We grew steadily and selectively, working to the highest standards and with landlords who aligned with this standard. We became ARLA Propertymark accredited in 2018. We specialised in HMOs, because that’s where the real difference between a good agent and a bad one shows up. We learned, through meticulous refinement, what actually works: psychology over paperwork, community over compliance theatre, calm houses over chaotic ones.

Along the way, we picked up landlords who’d been burnt by other agencies. We picked up tenants who told us this was the first house they’d actually felt at home in. And, somewhere in the middle of it all, we picked up HMO Manager of the Year.

Why now

We’ve spent the last few years building something more specific than a letting agent. A system. A method. A particular way of running shared homes that genuinely puts people, landlords and tenants first.

The name “VCC Homes” didn’t quite capture that any more. VCC Homes was thrown together at the start, because it simply meant “Valles Collins Collective Homes” (those are our founders’ surnames). The name was fine, in the beginning. We just feel that now, the company is different. That original collective of people has grown.

We’re stepping into a new chapter. We’ve spent years building systems and standards we know can serve landlords across the South East and beyond. The new brand is built for that journey.

What Nola Living means

Honestly, the name doesn't mean anything specific. We didn't lift it from a Latin root, and we didn't reverse-engineer it from a marketing brief.

We picked it because of how it felt, calm, considered, quietly confident. The way a well-run house should feel when you walk into it.

Whether you're a landlord watching the rent land on time every month, or a tenant unlocking the front door at the end of a long Tuesday, that's the feeling we wanted to bottle.

What changes and what doesn’t

You’ll see the change roll out gradually over the coming weeks. Digitally first, the website, our social channels, and our email addresses. The boards will follow. We’re doing it slowly because we don’t want to confuse anyone, and we don’t want it to feel like a different company.

Because it isn’t.

It’s still us. Same team. Same standards. Just sharper. More us. Built for the next chapter rather than the last. With a name and a look that fits the version of us we’ve grown into.
